Several weeks we have had our semifinals for the big final for Eurovison Song Contest that will be held in Düsseldorf, Germany this year.
This years finalist from Sweden is Eric Saade.... with his song Popular. When I first heard it I fought I was listening to an old song from the 70's by the famous disco group Boney M.

Yes, that drum beat is definitely taken from Nightflight to Venus/Rasputin. Or possibly Dance with the Devil, the Cozy Powell hit, where Frank Farian and Boney M got it from.
