Barça vs. Malaga

yesterday we went to the match between Barça and Malaga. The first half was really boring cos nothing happened.... but in the second half then the action started... Pedro did the first goal in the 69th minute for Barça and then Valdo did the only goal for Malaga in the 81st minute. Messi did goal for Barça in the 84th minute.... In the last minute our hero Zlatan Ibrahimovic did a goal, but the referee didn't counted it in so Barça won with 2-1 against Malaga...we where 64 837 people at Camp Nou!

Republica

do U remember that band from the 90's.... well when I was around 12 that was the shit and of course I wanted to be just like Saffron, the singer... Yesterday on the way to the club we started to talk about what was in style when we where young, ok we are not old just cos of that, but yeah... And I mention that when I was 12 and started to dye my hair red was only cos of Saffron that had red/black and I wanted the same. Of course then we started to sing on the songs from Republica and now I also found them on Spotify... to my JOY....

this weekend goes in the light of confusion... Not that I don't know what I'm going to do but the lack of languages skills... I have 3(!!!!!) guys from Austria (Graz)on visit, well they are not staying at my place but really close... like 2 min away from home...AND I don't understand a thing what they say to me when they speak with dialect...

Yesterday, when the girls left for a SKA gig in La Pau, I sat myself in front of the TV with a can of ice cream and ready to chill.. but then I got a SMS from Dominik and he asked where we are going out... ok there went my plan of being home... so I contacted my peeps from class and I meet up with them around 11 at Rambla Raval. At half 12 we where at Plaça Cataluyna. There for the first time I meet Dominik, Alfred and Christoph. Oh my good... I need subtitles to understand... We went home to Sara that had a party and then we headed towards Razzmatazz cos Kleerup was going to play... but nooooooo the line was like 2 blocks so we took 3 taxis and headed down to the old town. We went to a place and some of us took a drink others just used the bathroom. Then we went to Magic, a rock bar where you pay 10 € and gets 2 beers... I can just say that I came home round 6 this morning... still a little drunk. I walked, took a taxi and then walked again with Alfred to get home.. lazy Austrians, that don't want to walk home, but he paid the taxi so OK ;) I woke up at 12 and I have taken a shower, now I'm going to eat breakfast.

The BIG event for today, except of surviving, is the football match at Camp Nou that we are going to: Barça vs. Malaga. I'm going with HCB and his friends but also the Austrian guys and one girl from my class with her boyfriend is going so lets see if we have a drink or so before or after ;)

Ego

Montjuïc

Yesterday I went to Montjuïc with Jenny and Lii, and also after a while HCB. We WALKED up all the stairs that go all the way to the Castel and as always I didn't have my asthma medicine with me. But it went without problems. It was really windy yesterday so it was even a much bigger effort this day. But we got a nice view of Barcelona... We took a lot of pictures over the city and we where amazed how small everything looked from Montjuïc and that Barcelona is sooooo big. We could even see the Pyrenean mountain range with it's snowcapped hills.

Catalá

Per fi em va inscriure en un curs de català. Vaig a començar a meitats d'abril i acaba a meitats de maig. Ho estudiaré molt a prop de la casa com puguin veure en el foto ... jo visc on aquesta la A i l'escola està en B.


Finally I sign up for class of Catalan. I start in mid April and have class until mid May. And I will have my classes really close to home, as you can see I live where the A is and my course in Catalan is where B is... around 3 min walking..

holy shiz

it's 1 in the morning and I start school in less then 9 hrs... This has been a new problem in my life... since the times in this country is later then the times we have for things in Sweden. At home we never eat after 6, but here I can eat my dinner as late as 11 in the night... Well I'm off to bed now otherwise I will never come out off bed tomorrow.

Post illness

After 4 days of being ill I finally made my way out from the house on Saturday and what better place to go to then the beach... 2 of the girls and me headed out from the house and started to walk the way down to Playa Barceloneta. We passed Nelson and then down to the harbour. Luckily I had my scooter with me so it took less time to come down. We looked at the people (guiris) and then a band that playing on the side walk.

We wanted to have a coffee but all the places where full since it was such a beautiful day with sun and a clear blue sky, so we found a little place that had ice cream, crisps and sweets. I bought myself a Calippo.... mmmmmm

HCB and me had some fun at Carrefour last weekend... I know the Spanish people has some problems understanding the names of countries (like Suecia/Suiza) but this is hilarious Dutch (Holland) with a Germanflag (Deutsch in German). The thing u can't see on the pictures is that it says , Product of Holland, on the side of the can... so much for reading..

Roca and me

are best friends since some days back. Well now u wonder who is this Roca.. a hot guy that I picked up here in Barcelona perhaps.... But no that's not the case ( I already love some one)..... ROCA is the company name of Toilet's and Sinks in this Country. Since Tuesday I have been best friends with Roca, u can imagine what I have done...

DANI

A new language

for several days now I have tried to register to a free course in Catalan. Yesterday I was to Placa Cataluyna and I wanted to register but the lady there told me that they didn't have any curses left and that I should try tomorrow (today) at another place in Ciutat Vella (old town). I went there after school... and of course I got lost in the narrow alleys but finally I found the place. I looked throw the list and they had some good hours but they where all in Nou Barris, and that's like FAR AWAY from city centre. So I have to try another day and register for a course in Ciutat Vella, which is the closest place from my house. But I have already started with some basic words.

El Raval

this is where I live in Barcelona, everyone was sooooo ( well I don't know what people where).... but yeah.. El Raval don't have the fame for being the best area to live in, but I like it. I live "next to" Montjuïc, which I have always wonder what it is named for and now I know it's hill of the Jews in medieval Catalan.. thanks to Wikipedia ;)

Parc Güell

On Saturday we got together a bunch of people from the class and went to Parc Güell for some picknick... I have to stop having so hug expectations on things.... It was a disappointment for me. I have always thought that Parc Güell was HUGE.... but no...it was much smaller then I thought and also the famous lizard at the entrance was less impressive then I had imagined ...I have to turn down my expectations on things so I don't get anymore disappointed of this city cos that would be a shame...

My dear aunt

send me this money just some days before I left. It's almost 30 € in coins.... I think it must had cost a lot just to send them to me. But that's my family...cute :0)
